It's tough on the street, ya know? There are tons of reasons why Midgar has a slums area, most people forget it is even there at times, but that was because there was a plate on top of it, blocking out sunshine and life, the air, stagnant, this was the way of life here. A girl dressed up in a black and green bikini top, and black slacks, what an interesting thing to see, even she thought so, with her long blond hair, and her black shades. Anyone looking would think she was strange. She didn't care. She didn't have any weapons on her at the moment, but she would fix that soon. She had lost her last weapon due to a fight, and someone breaking it from her hands.
She was Midori Shara, she wanted to be a hero, to be someone that people could look up to, possibly a Turk, or maybe a new age Soldier. Maybe even a Savior, but for now, she was just a Simple Street Mercenary, looking for a possible job, and a way to further her life. Luckily all the locals knew she wasn't the kind of girl that some might think she was, she had taught them that a few weeks ago, when she started working on this job of her's, while doing other odd tasks in the meanwhile. She wanted excitement though, right now, a fight.
She looked at the people passing by, most of which were regulars. She didn't see how this day would help, being she didn't see anyone who would be seeking her services or who would put some gil in her pockets. She could tell the time, but only because the little light that did shine in, would only be so bright in here at certain times, and other people kept their Schedules in such a way that people could tell the time just by watching them. The shop owner over across the way for instance, was taking her break, which meant that it was around noon.
She really did hope, that she would find some work today, or maybe something interesting enough to keep her from feeling bogged down by this city. If anything, tonight she would head to a different portion of Midgar, and find out the latest news. There had been lots of renovations, she had heard, from Shinra, as well as for Midgar as a whole. She hadn't had much time to figure out the way of the entire town since the life stream event. The Stigma thing that happened back a while also had made things strange in the city. She just wondered, how long Midgar would last, as it seemed to be struck by catastrophe after Catastrophe. She smirked though, for that meant that she would possibly have her chance if another one happened, and that meant she would have to be ready.
